Interesting. I note Voepel’s comments that Las Vegas might be interested in Boley if they believe her defense is good enough. Last night, If memory serves, Graves did a little bit of offense-defense with Boley, subbing her in and out of the game on offense and defense respectively.
In answer to your last three comments/questions. Everyone at Oregon believes that this year is the end of the college careers of both Boley and Giomi (their decisions, not Graves's). There is some speculation about Boley and the WNBA; none regarding Giomi. (Both are terrific people, by the way.) I agree Boley in the WNBA is a reach, but I suspect some team will take a chance on drafting her.
Graves has regularly gone offense/defense with Boley since she's been in Eugene, often having another player on the court in her place toward the end of games for defensive purposes. (Last year, I think it was often Taylor Chavez.) And she does have a habit of disappearing. In her defense (this year), she has been dealing with back issues and that may be one reason for her minutes (she looked really good early in the season, but not so much since) and the fact that her shooting has not been what it was in past seasons. One of the great puzzles/frustrations of this Oregon team, which, according to Graves, is probably the best shooting team he's ever had, is that it's been anything but that on the court.
