I didn't see it, but they scored 53 points. How good could they possibly have been? Shot 40% overall, 33% from 3. Doesn't really appear to be an out of their mind performance, no matter how you try to spin it.

I don't think Pat was some X's and O's wizard but she recruited with the best of the best. Her team had vastly superior rosters to almost everyone else and out worked people and toughed people. It worked well considering the roster makeup every year.

That system is not replicable without superior players and Tennessee doesn't have that these days. It will require some innovation on the offensive end IMO and I'm not sure if Harper has that to be honest.

Now if the one SEC team and the two Big 12 teams who are scheduled to play today can also loose, it will show that their Conferences weren't as strong as the committee perceived them to be.

Sad thing is. They may be the only team(maybe A&M) that actually have a decent future. But. Tennessee needs a point guard and a True 4.
