This kid is the real deal, love his game. I hope Ollie puts on the moves!

The kid's game and frame remind me of a more athletic Hamilton but replace DHam's distributing ability with Wilkes tendency to attack the rim, looks like more of a scorer.
 
Hoping we can make up ground, and get into that top three and get a visit. He is the real deal, and truly is something we don't have on this team. He is smart and well spoken. Hopefully the time with team USA will be helpful.

I wonder if he knows what he'd be getting into at UCLA with the Lonzo Ball Show.

Or maybe that's why he wants to go there?

X and IU looking good if so. Love this kids game and would love this package deal. Maybe he's holding out the 5th because he's waiting to see how his buddy likes Storrs?

Recruiting has gotten pretty hectic, ko is in on a bunch of five star talent. There is a ton of Ucla and hometown buzz with this kid so I won't hold my breath, same with petty. End of the day if we are in the drivers seat for mal diallo and a good big ill be happy. That'll be some coup tho, probably a top 5 class

Plot twist, he didn't schedule a visit here because he knows Diallo is about to commit here

Nice! Saw @Huskyforlife posted this on Recruiting Tweets thread and almost replied to it but remembered I should do that in this thread instead. Great news that we are getting a visit. When I saw the other visits with UConn excluded I assumed we were out of his consideration. Nice to see we are still in the running.
 
Looks like we got the last visit. Last licks are usually good, or do we worry he commits before he ever gets to us?

I'd like to either be first or last and I'm optimistic so I'll talk myself into a lot of things. But last visit right before National Signing Day on November 9 can certainly be a positive, assuming he makes it to us

Too close to signing day to be a positive to have the last visit in my opinion. Seems like a formality to Ollie.
 
Along with Connecticut, Wilkes is considering Indiana, Illinois, UCLA, and Xavier.

When it comes to expansion, Wilkes doesn’t seem the least bit interested in how it is going to play out.

“I don’t pay too much attention to expansion talk,” said Wilkes. “Connecticut is a real good school, and if I went there it would be because of that. I really don’t care about talk of the Big 12.”

Big 12 expansion is affecting college hoops recruiting
 
One of Wilkes and Harvey to play the wing would be awesome. Really want a high end recruit there with the small but real potential that Larrier goes pro if he has a good year.
