This year I kinda wish it gets delayed by one day every single day. The dread is eating me.

Just waiting for this team to gel, so far we have not looked good on either offense or defense. We have the horses but our jockey seems to have no influence on the team. What a difference a coach can mean both positively or negatively. Our coach needs to become more involved during the game, she needs to motivate these kids!

I have a feeling this will be ugly. The performance I saw at A&M was uninspired and downright embarrassing. What is frustrating is the talent is there but it hasn't shown up yet for whatever reason.

Then we get to play the LVs. I'm seriously wondering if we make the field this year, the SEC is much better this go around and we lost 2 "wins" when Vandy cancelled (no guarantees but we all thought we could win those when the year started).

I'm not sure what kinda mind games you State fans are playing with these pessimistic posts but we all know Miss State is going to come out playing like their hair is on fire. If what ya'll are saying about your recent outings is true then this will likely be your best game of the season. The Bulldogs ALWAYS get up for SC and this game is always a bloodbath... so regardless of your season so far I highly doubt this game will be any different.

Maybe it’s me but Carter and Rickea have regressed big time based on play recently. Neither look happy to be there either. You wonder what’s going on behind the scenes.

Those two are counted on heavily and they have been subpar

Well, I guess you guys know your team better than I do.

Something is off with Miss State, they just didn't have that hunger that I'm used to seeing from them.. That wasn't even a good game for SC and we won relatively easily.

Our guys said we had to pay him a huge sum of money. It wasn't out of the realm of possibility. We just didn't wanna pay him.

You're doing it wrong: the trick is to wish it gets delayed for 3 months on the first day. Then you have 3 months of relaxation before the dread picks up again....

Miss State has the talent. They jumped out in the 3rd Period - Jackson struggled in the 1st half, and that probably hobbled the team a bit. She scored 9 pts in the 3rd Qtr. alone, and 13 of her 15 totals points in the 2nd half. A 1st half like that, and the game could have been much different....

The implied value of Vic Schaefer should terrify Baylor fans.

Sidney Cooks is another player who seems out of place with this team. Vic once said she was unstoppable. Can't really judge how she would fare under Vic , I could assume she would not thrive under McCray.

Mississippi State has a lot of pieces and Nikki (seemingly) has no idea how to put the puzzle together.

The players also seem to have lost a lot of interest. They could badly use a breakout game, because the talent is still there.

S. Cooks is a talented kid but honestly she is too beat up physically to gain any kind of traction right now. Its sad to see, her knees are barely hanging in there. Its been a lingering issue since Michigan St.

IMO if there isn't a big change by the end of the season, Carter and Jackson are walking out. These two in particular don't look very interested or happy to be there this year. It shows in their body language.

I get the feeling a lot of these girls gave N. McCray a chance and probably liked her getting to chat over the summer. Some don't appear to be happy with their situation now, for whatever reasons that may be. I see very little sense of urgency, lack of overall chemistry and hunger. Its unfortunate because they are very talented team but it seemed everything that built on from last year evaporated in a offseason. Again, COVID definitely impacted this but there is something much bigger going on internally. This isn't the Miss St take I am use to seeing over the last 5 years.
