1. Can't worry about who we're playing just execute on both sides of the ball and we will be fine
2. Remember our opponent who ever it is has got to find a way to stop our Big 3
3. The Terror Twins (KK and Ash) will create enough havoc to place doubt in our opponents heads. Bring Griff in and it could be hell.

I don't think there is a team in tournament that can contain our offense.
I don't think there is a team that can withstand our defensive pressure which is backed up by our depth
I don't think there is an opponent that can keep up with our quickness
I don't think with Paige controlling the game any opponent has someone like her to control their offense.

UConn has shown confidence, intensity, energy, and great execution. UConn has great ball handlers who can pass effectively. That has limited our turnovers. Without making turnovers it is very difficult to stay with UConn. UConn has shown they can go on runs with many players getting involved or with not so many players getting involved. Much of our scoring comes from their devastating defense. Alot of our scoring comes from our ability to create our own shot.

Our Big 3 have arrived. You can't double team them and take a chance of leaving somebody open. Sarah down low is more than a handful. She may give up some size however she is very quick, a great passer and smooth and that is something that is very difficult to handle. Azzi is playing at another level and Paige recognizes that and gets her the ball.

Paige is the best all around player in the tournament. She can do everything and most importantly she knows how to take over the game. She can do that in various ways either by creating her own shot, or getting her teammates involved.

It has been mentioned that UConn can only lose if they lose themselves. I don't think UConn can loose themselves because they have to many weapons on both sides of the ball. This is a different team then the team that lost 3 games. They are healthy and playing at a different level. This could be right now the best team UConn has had since the TASS team with Diana.

Don't kid yourself. They can lose. There are some really good teams out there. However, IF UCONN plays really well, they can beat anyone. But, if they have an off game, there are a few teams that they could lose to.

If we get there , UCLA and if we get there Probably South Carolina ….no room for having a bad game
Like many here….i feel when our girls take the floor we can beat anyone
However against any of the remaining teams we cannot get behind early
I worry about our defensive rebounds and size under the boards
Inside production on offense can Jana….ICE and Aubrey give us strong minutes rebounds and points??

Still I believe in Geno and CD and of course tradition and most of all “PAIGE”

As always, Tonyc, You in your unabashed comments , hit the nail on the head. My opinion and thoughts also. The UCONN team that takes the floor is TOO FAST on offense and TOO FAST on defense. The team has jelled into the team of Breanna, Napheesa and Katie Lou. We have Attitude and confidence that is perfectly attuned with our skills. I also believe there is no team in the future that can stop UCONN from getting No.12 Its been a long wait, but the wait is over. Paige WILL go out a winner! GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t worry about the BIG teams, UCLA and TEXAS. Sure, they’ll win the rebounding battle and score a bunch in the paint. But we should be able to win Avery other aspect of the game.

As Sean Connery famously said: “The worry isn’t the Russian navy. I know their tactics. The worry is the Americans. If we come across a buckaroo…”.

Our defense should take care of UConn. We are a team that does not foul. If we got in a little foul trouble then we have Griff. The problem every team has is defending UConn because we can create our own shot, have good ball handlers, are a great passing team and of course we've got Paige leading the way. Too many teams do not have good ball handlers. To many teams have problems with our pressure. Yeah Beers is a force however Geno has a plan to contain her and she will have to contain Sarah and Jana and that will lead to foul trouble. JMO folks

All great thoughts. The only thing UConn hasn't proven this year is the ability to win a close game. In two of the three losses they were in great position to win and simply didn't play well down the stretch of the game. As good as they are I do think they will be tested at some point and when it happens will they be different than they were in the other games?
