So it would seem. UConn hockey schedule

C'mon, UConn, get Clarkson to play the Huskies in Hartford. I'm not sure who I'd root for (I'm a Clarkson alum) but I'd love to see that game.

By coincidence, in women's ice hockey, defending national champion Clarkson plays at UConn next Friday night.

Love the Clarkson women but I'm more interested in a competitive game. And yes, I'm a UConn women's basketball fan - I see the irony in my statement.

There are many Clarkson alumni, especially engineers, working in Connecticut a couple of big firms. That would be great for Clarkson to give their alumni an occasional game in CT.

Years ago, the Clarkson Alumni Association held receptions when one of their alumni were in town to play the Whalers. I don't think the CAA has considered the college games for these types of get-togethers, which is too bad. Women's sports could use more visibility and Connecticut is a great place to begin since UConn has two reigning national champions in women's sports that are well-supported by fans.

It's not like there is no chance to see Clarkson play. They are in the same league as Yale & Q'piac. Just so you know, I am a St. Lawrence grad.

Clarkson women's ice hockey often winds up on UConn's schedule. For that matter so does St. Lawrence, just not this year.
