I noticed that too. Bad combination with our putrid eFG%At one point we were top 25 in the country in avoiding turnovers. We're now 200th.

The guy who can't dribble, can't rebound, and can't pass is the only player not to have a turnover last night. Give Polley a lot of credit for knowing his limitations and not trying to do too much. Keep the 3's coming Tyler Phommachanh you have found your niche on this team!
Win?What can you say. Pathetic crowd, poor performance against a bad team. Nothing to like for me personally.
Yep...A lot of lazy passes with no mustard behind them.Over penetrating, rushing, and stupid passes all contributed.
Yeah there IS that.Win?
Turnovers, not all but many, are related to the defense and Uconn's passing. Depaul showed up the dribble drive weakness. Uconn kids think one play ahead and sometimes that gets to be a problem as the play evolves.Yuck. Bet I know what the focus of practice will be this week.
one of us, not named 'me,' appears to be in the wrong place. going out on a limb here, but 'geno,' 'she's,' and 'depaul' seem a bit off topic. missed it by that much...Turnovers, not all but many, are related to the defense and Uconn's passing. Suffice to say there shall not be turnovers 48 or so is not the number Geno wants. He shall correct that to the extent he controls it. CW will dribble into a pack again and again. But she too shall learn to make the jumper choice first. Olivia made 4 turnover at Depaul mostly because she was multiple teamed and fouled time after time. I'm amazed at how good Olivia truly is at this stage of her development. Last year everyone was hoping she would last until the 4th quarter before she fouled out. Now she lasts 40 minutes. And scores 19. Not to count the shots she changes.
Isn't Hurley known as a turnaround specialist?A 2:1 ratio is pretty good, we just need it to be assists to turnovers instead of turnovers to assists.
I guess you never know. The NBA is always looking for shooters. Duncan Robinson went from D3 Williams, to a decent player at Michigan and now he's in the NBA and thriving as a 3 point shooter.I'm starting to think Polley has an outside chance at being a 3 and D guy in the NBA if he gets stronger and continues his dead eye shooting. Don't think he'll get drafted but outside chance of cracking a roster if he continues his progression
I hope I’m right in believing that the rash of turnovers in the last two games comes from the lay offs in between games.
Was Shabazz known as a reach around specialist?Isn't Hurley known as a turnaround specialist?
I don’t care about freshmen turnovers or mental lapses. I care about juniors and seniors who can’t dribble, protect the call, or pass to our teamView attachment 49262
Gilbert and Gaffney with a very similar stat line. The major difference is Al's 5 steals.
Wow, look at that cluster of turnovers. I'd like to see the film and breakdown exactly what caused it. Over penetrating, rushing, and stupid passes all contributed.
