I just got home. I haven't checked it out yet, but it was like that during the home game against Hartford, and if I recall correctly, it was like that last season as well, although obviously the games were not streamed on FloSports.

In the last post game interview, from what I recall Coach Penders said that Cooke in his previous appearance was throwing the ball down the middle, and not locating his pitches ball like he had in his previous appearances. Penders figured it was a good learning opportunity showing he needs to do more than just throw the ball.
 
For a relatively obscure midweek game, I’m loving this production value from Flo. I’ve had no issues with Jones’s commentary or with the picture. Cameras are also wayyy better than what we had with LBSU and UCSD.
 
Top 7th, Sam Favieri in to pitch for UConn. Looking like a good game to get some lesser used pitchers some time on the mound in these late innings.

Favieri gives up a leadoff walk, then gets 3 outs in a row, including 2 strikeouts. 8-0 UConn.

It’s the best of both world - watching game on TV/Computer AND having Jones on the call!

$29.99 for 14 games on FloSports in a month isn’t a bad deal (free is nice but…)

Bottom 7th, Chris Brown with a 1 out double, 2 hits and a walk on the game. This is what midweek games are for, getting guys like Brown going. I especially like the walk since it took him awhile this season to get one.

Brown scores on an rbi ground out by Stock. 9-0 UConn.
 
Afthim gives up a leadoff walk. a 2 out double brings in a run for Bryant to make it 9-1 UConn going to the bottom of the 8th. 2 strikeouts for Afthim.

Devin Kirby on to pitch the top of the 9th.
 
Nice win. This is leading me to believe that the team was getting (understandably) tired during that last series and are feeling refreshed upon arrival home.
 
Thawing out as that got damn cold fast. Pitching threw strikes, hitters took walks and got on base when opportunities presented themselves. Didn’t blow open game until middle innings but you can see the depth between the two programs become readily apparent. Nice to see brown get a couple hits, stock just looks like a damn pro and no base running gaffes….all in all a good day at Elliot.
