Still a lot of season left - no point in rushing him off to the draft until he can sustain last game over the rest of the season. Teams are going to lock in on him now, let's see how he works through that. If he keeps lighting it up like that, then you may be right.

Idk his shooting is the main thing that will get him drafted and i don’t think he'll ever shoot better than this

Why not? This is his first major playing time and he's an incredible shooter. It's the other parts of his game that need to improve to be an NBA player. We're starting to see some improvement in those areas but he still has a ways to go.

Billy coming back would be great for college hoops, in its shortage of coaches. It ain’t happening

He’s not going ANYWHERE. What is your confusion???

The recency bias that this board ascribes to players is beyond insane. We had Ross as a Reggie Lewis clone after a game against UNH and Stewart gone as a lottery pick after this year. You all are beyond insane

Im pretty sure he's coming back. if he goes pro he'll get drafted at the end of the first round and end up playing g league. NBA rosters are too deep these days. He can make more money in NIL at Uconn and play more meaningful games and make the lottery the following year. PLUS this years draft class is stacked and next year hell be coming off a better Uconn season.

30th pick in the draft gets $5 million guaranteed. He won’t be getting more in NIL. Plus if Solo is going to develop and add to his game it will be way easier to do in the NBA where his sole focus will be basketball.

Obviously the kid needs to go if he has first-round money coming his way. I think the honest question is can he get in the first round? His shooting is elite, but his passing and handle are not. And the entire defensive side of the ball is a mess.

If some GM thinks they can teach him to defend, he'll find a spot on a roster somewhere.
