Hope I don't derail this but are we just not heavily recruiting HS anymore? Looks like we only have 2 offers out for 2025.

247Sports updated their 2024 and 2025 recruiting rankings this week.

2024: 2024 Top Basketball Recruits

Nowell is #29. I think that's higher than they had him before. Abraham is #80.

2025: 2025 Top Basketball Recruits

Not sure who in 2025 UConn is seriously recruiting at this point.

FYI if you click the little clock next to their ranking on the individual player page, it will tell you their historical ranking.

Nowell: First ranked 56 by 247 and is up to 36. No change in composite over the past 2 years.

Abraham: First ranked 86 by 247 and is up to 80. Composite went from 73 to 67. At one point went as low as 108.

Thanks. Good to know about the historical rankings feature.

2025 we've shown interest in Acuff recently (#4), Maleek Thomas like a year ago (#9), Dwyane Aristode recently (#24), Kiyan Anthony son of Carmelo (#60), Jacob Ross brother of Jayden (#81), Nigel James (#92), Badara Diakite (#93).

May have missed a couple but that should be fairly comprehensive.

Dybantsa, Sanon, and Harelson are all '25's that we've been linked to - though Dybantsa and Sanon are reclass candidates.

Dybantsa already did reclass from '26 to '25, don't think he can move to '24

It would be fun if we got Carmelo’s kid….just to watch the meltdown in Canada

Darius Acuff is another, like Sanon, who I think could reclass and be ready to go.

Averaging 20ppg and 5asts on 48% shooting at IMG currently

According to Acuff Hurley has not been in to see him this season. Maybe one of the assistants has.

Jalen Haralson either.

I really have no clue who the staff is prioritizing in the 2025 class. I'm sure we'll learn a lot more during the upcoming spring and summer AAU seasons.

They just updated the 2026 rankings today. Lots of talent in California in this class.
