2024: 2024 Top Basketball Recruits

Nowell is #29. I think that's higher than they had him before. Abraham is #80.

2025: 2025 Top Basketball Recruits

Not sure who in 2025 UConn is seriously recruiting at this point.

Nowell was ranked #30 before and Abraham was ranked #72 by 247.

Nowell: First ranked 56 by 247 and is up to 36. No change in composite over the past 2 years.

Abraham: First ranked 86 by 247 and is up to 80. Composite went from 73 to 67. At one point went as low as 108.

2025 we've shown interest in Acuff recently (#4), Meleek Thomas like a year ago (#9), Dwyane Aristode recently (#24), Kiyan Anthony son of Carmelo (#60), Jacob Ross brother of Jayden (#81), Nigel James (#92), Badara Diakite (#93).

May have missed a couple but that should be fairly comprehensive.

According to Acuff Hurley has not been in to see him this season. Maybe one of the assistants has.

I really have no clue who the staff is prioritizing in the 2025 class. I'm sure we'll learn a lot more during the upcoming spring and summer AAU seasons.

They just updated the 2026 rankings today. Lots of talent in California in this class.
