#22 UConn v. Cincinnati (Fri. 4/5 @ 1p @ J.O.C., Sat. 4/6 @ 2p @ DDP on CW20 & Sun. 4/7 @ 12p @ DDP)

Would have thought with the extended outing that Wurster had yesterday that he would not be available to pitch today. May be another case of Penders stretching a pitcher.

Yea I don't get going Wurster there. Gardner and Johnson are still available.

The optics of dropping a series to a Cincy team that got crushed in basically all of their OOC series -- including NIAGARA-- is not gonna be pretty come selection time.

This team has to learn that scoring 3-5 runs a game will not consistently cut it. You have to score, especially with runners in scoring position.

8-3 cincy. I have essentially lost hope but if there is any chance of a miracle, the top of the order needs to get at least 2 back here.

Cincy just the smarter and better team today. We had our chance early to bury them, then questionable decisions and then bad defense killed us.

Gotta have a crooked number at some point.

We have been unlucky with ball placement. I dislike the lack of patience but the swings have been good today.

Where's Gardner? I get Cincy's pen stinks so we should still be trying to win, but I trust Gardner to get outs.

Chris Winkel has to be the most impatient batter in the country. My goodness, can you take a few pitches and wait for a good one to hit. Fedko swings at ball 4 which would have loaded them with no outs. Does this team not realize a walk is as good as a hit and when your down 4 you need base runners. Insane!!
