I can’t blame anyone for wanting to play for Dawn but Lee to SC is overkill for the Gamecocks. Lee isn’t a PG and they already have Tessa/Agot on the wing who are locks to start, plus Jerzy who should get notable minutes from day 1. Jerzy likely takes over Tessa Johnson’s spot the following season when Lee would be a senior. I’m not seeing how she fits in there aside from being a depth piece which is a downgrade compared to being a 2nd option offensively at Texas who would be a title contender with her there.

I wonder if we're struggling on finding a PG in the portal and need Tessa and/or Agot to play out of position next season. That opens the door for more minutes in the wing. Also don't forget we have Ayla McDowell as a 3/4. I agree. While I love stockpiling great players, and Lee seems like a great fit for our system, the timing is off unless there is something we don't know (injured player, someone is about to enter the portal, etc.).

Disagree. It's a nearly perfect fit and we are not deep at all at G.

We have lots of 4s but not that many 1,2, and 3s.

Yep! I was wondering about her since several had left after the coaching change. I don't remember why there didn't seem to much mutual interest when she was in HS, and her first year was mediocre, but she improved her stats a great deal in her second year. She is more of a stretch 4, but that could work for us.
