This is very common for Ivy League players with eligibility. They need to find grad programs and the sooner the better with admissions, etc.

Is the portal open for teams who haven't had a change in coach? I had thought it didn't open until after the NCAA tournament?

Some of the recent posts say "plans to enter", so maybe that's a way to get their names out before it officially opens, and who knows, send a message to current program?

1) The poor results this year are from a bad situation and players are getting out.
2) The poor results this year have necessitated a house cleaning, particularly of marginal players.

Statistically speaking, Stotijn was the worst P4 player on any roster with a negative number associated to her. That is really hard to do. No one else was nearly as bad. I will be curious where she ends up as she did get some playing time at IU but was truly atrocious…
