Jocyte was born in the U.S., so she is an American citizen. She had an opportunity to play for the best coach in the world.
As has been discussed, in other threads, there are many ways for a player to have “offshore” NIL earnings while complying with the “no work” limitations of a student visa. She’ll be in the US on a student visa, not a work visa, which limits how she can make money. I believe only passive income from tees is allowed, no commercials or sponsorships.
People are reading too much into this. I loved both outfits but missed out on hearing who the designer(s) were."The W" does not dictate what players wear. Each person makes that decision for herself, which is why you see such a wide variety of fits. As for Paige, a couple of days before the draft her stylist revealed that she would wear more than one fit to the event.
Showing her class, Paige made a discreet wardrobe change after the W tried to over-glam her.
Here she is no longer having to hold herself together. Love her.
I just screamed!I knew Paige was getting drafter, but I cried like a baby when they called out Kaitlyn and Aubrey.
Ah, not an NCAA thing, it's a federal deal. Visa's are by type: tourist, student, work, temporary work, etc. I knew a Canadian fiddler who came down on a tourist visa but was caught playing a gig for money. Back to Canada, a fine, and a five year ban from playing in the states.I did forget about that. You would think this issue would be accounted for in the new agreement.
