Shooting 30% and bricking half their shots does that to peopleI don't know about that. Day-Wilson seemed to be on a short leash this season and didn't have the opportunity to improvise like she's used to doing.

Has potential in a small ball scheme or even have one of those guards play small forward/wing. Can’t blame LSU for shooting their shot and figuring out the rest later.Agreed. LSU already has 2 shooting guards better than Fulwiley in Flaujae Johnson and Mikaylah Williams. Fulwiley doesn’t have the skill set or IQ right now to be a PG. I could see Kim trying Williams at PG and I’m sure she’d gladly take a talent like Milaysia but I don’t see this as a good basketball fit.
Plus if Fulwiley wants more freedom than she had at SC, LSU isn’t the right school for her. Kim isn’t afraid to bench anyone if she doesn’t like what she sees.

I could see her working with M Fulwiley as a lead guard similar to A Morris. I looked back at her stats over the years and A Morris was a completely different player under Coach Mulkey. Her stats bear it out. Coach Mulkey and Coach Staley are both excellent coaches capable of working with similarly strong personalities and doing what is best for the team. As you stated, she will work within Coach Mulkey’s system or she will sit.Agreed. LSU already has 2 shooting guards better than Fulwiley in Flaujae Johnson and Mikaylah Williams. Mulkey has not improved a single player development wise since Baylor outside of Morris everyone she has brought in has stayed the same or gotten worse during her tenure at LSU. There is a reason why everyone is transferring. It’s a sinking shipI could see her working with M Fulwiley as a lead guard similar to A Morris. I don't like Fulwiley and LSU because of her defensive shortcomings. Her inability to play consistently good defense is why her minutes were limited at SC, and also why they will be limited at LSU. Both Staley and Mulkey demand good defense to get playing time: I have no idea why she thinks it will be different at LSU.I like Fulwiley and LSU. I just don't get the two together. For sure she would start. But I think of her as a 2 guard. All they have are scoring guards. Isn't this a Hailey Van Lith situation all over. Id understand Notre Dame, TCU or even Oklahoma over LSU. But I'm talking strictly basketball fit, not brand or nil.
HerHoopStars has M.F’s per 40 win shares ahead of Williams. M.F is slightly behind offensively and much better defensively.Agreed. It's conceivable she'd actually rather return to USC, but since she can't, there's not a lot of other obvious good cultural fits that are top contenders, and if her mom is pressing her for NIL $$, L$U is almost surely the most obvious landing pad. She's 20 years old and the portal opacity would be confounding even for those with an advanced degree in negotiations, so it's not surprising to me the decisionmaking calculus has been less than optimal.I don't like Fulwiley and LSU because of her defensive shortcomings. If she chooses UConn, she'll be drafted number #5.5.............I swear I saw a post this morning that said Qadence to Virginia Tech, but I have not been able to find it since. I do believe that she visited there last weekend.
Regarding Serah Williams, ESPN has her going #8 in next year's draft, regardless of where she plays this coming season.

Your response tells me nothing.Let me put it this way. A recent 3x ACC POY, in multiple seasons at her university, didn't approach what Vanderbilt is paying ADR for ONE season. They'd better get All-SEC level production for her for THAT.
If Vanderbilt was serious about contending in the SEC, there were far more sensible options at that price. That's a panic purchase.
I’ve seen no indication SC is a favorite landing spot for Kneepkins. I think the article is meant to lay out why Kneepkins could work at any of her options, but it has a catchy headline to attract eyes. Can't really tell if this guy's "logic" is wishful thinking or objective with actual insights . . .
It seemed like clickbait to me. I don't think anyone has a clue where Kneepkins is leaning.I’ve seen no indication SC is a favorite landing spot for Kneepkins. I think the article is meant to lay out why Kneepkins could work at any of her options, but it has a catchy headline to attract eyes.
I note that the article was published on April 23, but mentions playing alongside Londynn Jones in UCLA's backcourt... after Jones had committed to Southern Cal. So... that doesn't show much familiarity with what's happening. It seemed like clickbait to me. I don't think anyone has a clue where Kneepkins is leaning.

At this point, UCLA has Kiki Rice and Charlisse Leger-Walker in the backcourt. You could say that Gabriela Jacquez is probably going to see time at the 2, as well. That's it.

That could mean something...and it could mean nothing. She follows Kiki Rice and Coach Close along with Raven Johnson and Azzi Fudd....lol. She is a basketball player who follows other basketball players and coaches. I would think South Carolina would be her best spot but who knows what she is thinking. What she thinks is all that matters...lol.....Maybe that writer knows something we don't.
A week after Kneepkens visited South Carolina, I see that she has started following Maryam Dauda on Instagram, and is now being followed by Adhel Tac. If those follows had happened one week ago, it would seem appropriate timing-wise. But, one week after her visit to SC, and a few days after her subsequent visit to UCLA causes me to believe she is South Carolina bound.

I’m enjoying a cup of tea right now. After I’m done I’ll take a look at the tea leaves and let you know what they say……It's all about timing, though. "Recent" follows after all visits have been completed could mean more; we'll find out soon.

While you do that, I will continue "reading between the lines" . . .![]()

Sorry to disagree, but the best green tea comes from Kyushu.I understand that trick only works if you use green tea from Chengdu, but you probably know that, being a giant panda and all![]()
