I am very southern/redneck yet have never heard this one until today. I will save it later lol.

In Canada, redneck applies to several areas/categories:

1). Areas that are considered outside of a major city/suburban area. For example, where I live, they love referencing redneck pride because the area is a mix of cottage country and rural farmers.

2). The prairies the include Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta.

3). Northern BC.

Now if you want some interesting sayings, I'd suggest taking a trip out to the East Coast. Between New Brunswick and Newfoundland, you'll probably get enough to fill a couple books, provided you can understand the accents.

Does Vanderbilt have a portal strategy? Because it doesn't seem like it. Throwing money around to players who aren't going to get them to SEC contender status seems--odd. What they paid for ADR is diabolical.

Be still my heart. I've loved this kid since I first saw her play as a junior in high school. You might not believe this, but this morning I was looking at a picture of Mikayla Blakes at Kelsey Plum's Dawg deal, and she was sitting next to Heckel. I thought how sweet it would be if Mikayla brought Heckel back to Nashville with her. I might be one of those voodoo guys and just never realized it.

I know y'all need height/size, but I'd rather have Kubek than Merkle.

I think Kubek can be effective in the ACC. Too bad Duke doesn't need her--because that'd be the funniest thing (considering the Oluchi recruitment).

Let me put it this way. A recent 3x ACC POY, in multiple seasons at her university, didn't approach what Vanderbilt is paying ADR for ONE season. They'd better get All-SEC level production for her for THAT.

If Vanderbilt was serious about contending in the SEC, there were far more sensible options at that price. That's a panic purchase.

ND is desperate for players (warm bodies) right now. How compatible they might be with HH and the handful of players left on their roster is a secondary concern at best.

LSU is a good style of play fit, and would indicate Staley’s tough love coaching had nothing to do with the move. It was just watching lesser players eat up her minutes.

The Terps have two promising young players in the front court who redshirted last season. Breanna Williams a former two times Montana player of the year and Isi Ozzi Momodu a former JUCO All American who lead JUCO in FG% a couple of seasons ago.

Between New Brunswick and Newfoundland

I've read a few books about Newfoundland (the island). A couple by Farley Mowat about misadventures with boats, and a historical fiction about Joey Smallwood. I gathered that Newfoundland is pretty much a separate country from the rest of Canada. Maybe that changed eventually, but definitely many decades after becoming an official province, it was still very independent and very unique.

Charlisse Legend Walking. Lol. That's y I think Jones left. I agree out of loyalty there were reasons to stay and undoubtedly she'd be big in the rotation regardless. But I just think CLW is better than Jones. May have already shown it a bit going up and down in practice. Jones could be a savage and go to USC. Lol.

I'm not going to be shocked if Janiyah Barker and Londynn Jones: 1) End up at the same school, and 2) It's Southern Cal.

I give myself .5 out of 2.

I can't comment on the NIL involved, but Charlisse Leger-Walker is set to eat up a lot of minutes next year and may be responsible for the departures of both Londynn Jones and Elina Aarnisalo.
