100% chance she is headed to the $EC
The school who signs her has to agree to use her self-imposed nickname. This was pretty expected. Not sure how to take her season. Seems like she had the same amount of disciplines as she did highlights. Jk. But she's super talented. Obviously could go a number of places and make a big impact. I can't really think of a recent transfer to compare her to, in terms of risk and reward due to presumed personality issues.
I think she would make a fantastic CG at South Carolina! She could take Paopao's minutes.
(Cue greedy chicken memes...)

Who’s it referring to?
This is in reference to Little Miss MuffetWhy are you using quotations? Don't get the context.

I apologize for being cryptic. Actually, I misquoted the statement. Should be other “player”. Back in the 2017-18 or 2018-19 season, Louisville’s Asia Durr and ND’s Arika Ogunbowale were up for ACC POY. Durr won the award and McGraw slighted her by referring to Durr as that other player instead of referring to by her name. This did not sit well with Louisville coach Jeff Walz. The next time ND and Louisville met there was a tense moment in the post game handshake line when Walz said to Muffet, by the way her name is Durr. Google Jeff Walz and Muffet McGraw and you will find several articles and video on the incident. Why are you using quotations? Don't get the context.

I would think the real (and only) USC maybe the destination spot for Latson. A one year rental, to keep them competitive. Since Juju will be out for most, if not, all of next season

It's just amazing where we are in this sport. Analyzing payroll. Spot on observation, very illuminating.Could be. But, that'll be a huge NIL payroll for Southern Cal as even though Juju won't play next season, she still gets paid. USC needs frontcourt help, too.
Were either of the current coaches at Texas and Georgia there when she took visits?Latson made official visits to Texas, Georgia, and Florida State the summer before her senior season.

In my mind, these trips to OK. State and Az. State have taken the gloss over her Frosh year at Georgetown. She would be well served to get to a program that can play to her strengths and for her to really work it. Maryland will need a PG, but can she play at that level for Freese? This thread is getting really long so take it easy on me if this player has already been commented on.
I was looking at the list of portal entrants in the OP of this thread. One name jumped out to me: Kennedy Fauntleroy. It looks like she has transferred after every season. She is only familiar to me because she played her freshman season at Georgetown and I believe she was pretty good. Pure conjecture here, but maybe she goes to MD for her final(?) season to be back close to home????

In any case, this sure looks like an agent is checking out a fifth year of NIL funding and then waiting for the 2026 draft.
Yikes....
Get your point. If she does head to U$C and goes it quickly, you could see ramifications for the Trojan frosh who might think they've earned a shot to step up in JuJu's absence.I would think the real (and only) USC maybe the destination spot for Latson. Thx. So there is a connection at UT.Vic Schaefer was already at Texas. He got official visits from both Latson and Flau'jae from that 2022 class.
Joni was still at Georgia.

Can't see her heading to A&M, for sure.
I think it should be.Lots of Texas fans didn't think Texas needed to be paying an unproven yet extremely talented in-state high school recruit like Aaliyah Chavez $1-1.5 million; wonder if that money will be there for a proven out-of-state collegiate player like Latson.

And a wise move I might add. Were either of the current coaches at Texas and Georgia there when she took visits?
