A point guard will be UConn’s main priority.
Kk?
Kelis?
My top concern would be a big.

My friend I agree on a post player but we have two coming in. Kelis is more of a combo guard. Morgan is a point forward. First thing first and that is Azzi returning for one more year.Kk?

I’d assume they’d go for a big since El Alfy/Brady are still a bit raw, and the incoming freshman is expected to be a project. Plus Patterson is coming off 2 years of injuries and was quite raw as a freshman.A point guard will be UConn’s main priority. Plus, Azzi Fudd needs to announce her intentions soon. If she leaves then a shooting guard may come first. But for one year Williams sure sounds good.
I will agree on a post player when the season comes to an end and see whom is sitting on our bench2?
Blanca is 6’2 and I thought more of a wing type?
Gandy is tall but got the impression that she’s more of a project. I don’t expect much her first year.
Born in Brooklyn, moved to Toronto, played HS in Canada, college in Wisconsin. Why on earth would she consider USC?My guess is UCONN or USC
I’d expect Grace Knox to start there. She’s their most highly touted recruit from their #1 class.LSU will need a power forward with Aneesah Morrow moving on . . .

Serah along with Olivia Olson, Syla Swords, and Mila Holloway would be fun to watch. I think Michigan was one of Williams' finals schools.Michigan could use another big. Their transfer from MTSU played well but they sometimes had to go small due to foul trouble. Not sure who they have coming in with their 2025 class who plays forward/post.If the basketball goddesses are on my side, Williams will end up at Michigan.Serah along with Olivia Olson, Syla Swords, and Mila Holloway would be fun to watch. She regressed significantly after her ACL tear. Not same player anymoreCould be. I expect Mulkey to get someone experienced from the portal. I'm not convinced S'mya Smith will be Morrow's replacement.
I think Smith will be fine at center, though they need another body in the post if Knox isn't ready to start from day 1.They still have no center at all
And having seen Knox in person, she does not look ready to start at all (as of now). She could develop
They do have both del Rosario and Wolfenbarger on the roster.
Surely you say this in jestBorn in Brooklyn, moved to Toronto, played HS in Canada, college in Wisconsin. Why on earth would she consider USC?
Neither gonna fix their interior problems next seasonThey do have both del Rosario and Wolfenbarger on the roster.
The more I read, the more I am concerned that the Portal is now a place to put your bio and wait for offers ($). Is the part about going to college for an education, competition and camaraderie a thing of the past?Surely you say this in jest
Let’s see a chance to play with the best player in college basketball team that will be competing for the national championship a team that’s losing both it’s big players and probably a whole Lotta NIl
Money
I would have no idea what this players intentions would be, but it safe to say that Usc
Will be attractive place for any big player
Why wouldn't she? Not clear on your argument here.Born in Brooklyn, moved to Toronto, played HS in Canada, college in Wisconsin. Why on earth would she consider USC?
Not to mention she's played against them once this season. Having a real life sense of the type of team she could be playing with instead of against is additional insight for her.Surely you say this in jest

Sadly I think for the most part that is correct. Is the part about going to college for an education, competition and camaraderie a thing of the past?
For who though? This sounds like it applies to a small percentage of those who receive a scholarship when you think of the entire NCAAW landscape. The majority are focused on the degree. That's not changing.Sadly I think for the most part that is correct.
Might be my old man "get off my lawn" showing through. You see all the t-shirts about family and togetherness, etc., and then you see the players bail out at the drop of a hat to pursue family and togetherness somewhere else. I find myself not buying into the sloganeering. So at least the camaraderie I think is dead. Dedication to pursuing a degree probably depends on the player. For who though? Sadly, that's our culture as a whole. This isn't a problem soley in collegiate sports. The idea of people being in for anything together as group doesn't carry the same weight like it used to.Might be my old man "get off my lawn" showing through. One reason I enjoy and support my favorite D3 team (Whitman College)...playing for the fun of the game and being on a "team."Sadly, that's our culture as a whole. All the years I've lived in Washington...and I still always get Whitman and Whitworth mixed up.One reason I enjoy and support my favorite D3 team (Whitman College)...playing for the fun of the game and being on a "team."
Let's put this to bed once and for all. Geno said ideally he'd like to know players' intent with respect to the draft, however that doesn't mean the decision will be made public before the end of the NCAA tourney. From my perspective, any portal activity by UConn is mostly under wraps. There were rumors about Evina Westbrook, however no pics of campus visit, and then all of a sudden, voila! pictures on instagram with her whole family wearing UConn shirts. For Chen, it was a decent assumption that she would end up at UConn, however nothing official until her announcement. We were supposedly in the running for Beers, however no pics of her on campus, unlike a lot of other transfer activity at other schools.A point guard will be UConn’s main priority. Plus, Azzi Fudd needs to announce her intentions soon. If she leaves then a shooting guard may come first. But for one year Williams sure sounds good.
