Perhaps, and a point that I perhaps should have made too. But this environment is WAY more volatile than it used to be and that has introduced a lot of uncertainty. So setting goals is a lot more problematic and may no longer be as meaningful as it once was.

The previous environment (and previous coaching staffs) maxed out at 3 wins a year for 6 consecutive years until this staff showed up.

Since then, we've gone bowling twice out of the 3 years that Mora and Co have been here, and we're pulling in recruits that are being pursued by other P4 teams, finally.

If you're an analyst, then I suggest you start to analyze a little harder...

Who cares what he thinks. After a decade of mediocrity, let’s give something to our fans to care about. A winning record will ensure that more fans are in the stadiums, more views on tv, more donations to UConn. If by some chance we end up with 10 or more wins, than let the national pundits say what they want. Mora will find a way to spin this in our favor.

What I'm having a difficult time reconciling is how is it that an analyst cannot find any positives in what has transpired since Mora took over the program, especially when measured against the performances over prior years.

From what I have been able to ascertain, you really view yourself as a critic, but don't fully understand what that role entails as you believe it means you are only allowed to criticize.

This was after the 2023 season and before the start pf the 2024 season. Contradicts what you have written here.

When you are hearing excuses like ifs and buts your doing something right. That win over UNC was huge in National perception and moving the needle a bit. People can make excuses why we beat UNC that's fine. Oh yeah we dominated and tried to work in Evers and Rosa in that game and slowed it down and just ran clock.

Btw does UConn get to have Durrell Robinson play in the Fenway bowl and 2 of their defensive backs play who were out and our top olineman who went out of the game in this game of what ifs.

That guy is the most negative UConn fan there is. From his history of posting he clearly does follow the school's athletic programs but his comments are very close to what would be expected from a troll, no praise for anything good that may have been accomplished, magnified spotlight when something bad happens.

Take his posts with a grain of salt.

If this is the case then he should present himself in that manner (if he truly is a fan of the program) not as an analyst. He's trying to pass his comments off as fair and reasonable yet the only comments are negative comments. He could easily say that he's taking a role to balance the commentary.
