Committed live on Instagram:

Elijah Whitaker is 6-1 175lb DB from Spaulding High School, Griffin, Georgia. Other offers from Coastal Carolina, ECU, Georgia State, Georgia Southern, Liberty, Mercer, New Hampshire, SE Missouri State, Tennessee-Martin, Wofford and WKU. Elijah visited Storrs back in mid-June.

Highlights

Not really a surprise - he didn’t sign NLI back in December…

Currently missing two from my list:
  1. Hayden Bozich (OL) - Steubenville, Ohio > Brown University (UConn Commit 12/15/24) (Transfer Portal)
  2. Sammy Anderson (DB) - Dayton, > Cincinnati > Austin Peay (UConn Commit 12/20/24) (Transfer Portal)
In addition to the incoming 18 transfers, the following eight incoming freshmen have enrolled for the spring semester and will be available for spring practices and workouts: defensive back Axavier Bridges Brooks (Upper Marlboro, MD), defensive end Nykobi Brown (Valdosta, GA), quarterback K'saan Farrar (Virginia Beach, VA), cornerback Osiris Gilbert (Duluth, GA), offensive lineman Hill Greenlee (Dallas, TX), offensive linemen Joe McGann (Lagrangeville, NY), cornerback Saxton Suchanic (York, PA), and tight end Xavier Watson (Waverly, NY).

Not sure if this belongs here. Mods feel free to move or remove.

Saw 2 kids that we might consider looking at.
First from Campbell HS, Litchfield, NH, that just won 2nd state title in 3 years for NH D-III with undefeated season. Name is Scott Herschberger, now holds career NH rushing record (6k+ yds). Shifty, patient, and faster than most. About 6', 180#.

Second from Torrington, CT. Name is Michael Ohoua, 6'4", 185# listed. Playing qb, rb, lb, fs. Torrington is now 9-1 having beaten Watertown 55-48 last night. I think this is his first year playing, so might be very under the radar. He's big and fast for a DB/FS.

I have no idea what their plans are, or if anyone is looking at them, but both impressed me.
Update on Ohoua on Hudl.
4.5 40, 10.83 100, 23’+ longjump
Kid is a solid athlete. No idea about academics or any school interest, but he’s not far away from Storrs. Maybe a hidden gem.

My apologies... it's Ahoua, not Ohoua. More on him... #3 ranked (in USA) hs longjumper, 24'4.5", won at Millrose Games. Won lj and hj at class L the other day, 24'1.5" and 6'2". He seems to have enough in his tool chest to play in the NFL to me.
