Saw 2 kids that we might consider looking at.
First from Campbell HS, Litchfield, NH, that just won 2nd state title in 3 years for NH D-III with undefeated season. Name is Scott Herschberger, now holds career NH rushing record (6k+ yds). Shifty, patient, and faster than most. About 6', 180#.

Second from Torrington, CT. Name is Michael Ohoua, 6'4", 185# listed. Playing qb, rb, lb, fs. Torrington is now 9-1 having beaten Watertown 55-48 last night. I think this is his first year playing, so might be very under the radar. He's big and fast for a DB/FS.

I have no idea what their plans are, or if anyone is looking at them, but both impressed me.

Dylan Flowers is a 5-11 185lb DB from Playa del Rey California attending the College of the Canyons (JUCO) in Santa Clarita California. Played @ BYU prior to heading the Canyons. Other offers from Albany, BGSU, Cal Poly, Jackson State, Jacksonville State, Missouri State, New Mexico, North Texas, Ohio University, Temple, UMass, UTEP and WKU.

JUCO DB Dylan Flowers commits to WKU

It’s moving towards if not already - kinda anticlimactic. Doesn’t get the same buzz as in the past now that there’s the portal.
Totally....plus a hidden drag on signing day fanfare; the impact of a more liberal 5th/6th/7th year of eligibility determination has put more older dudes in college ball than ever which eats up seats.

But with the recruiting services having to reallocate their limited resources to all the work that is the portal, it seems they are ranking/reviewing fewer HS kids which might result in more "gems" again for the lesser programs.

The portal is killing HS recruiting in many respects. Cam Rising is gonna be like 28 next year or something crazy.

McNamara from Michigan and then Iowa seeking a 7th year. At what point is enough, enough
