Approaching 6-foot-3 and 300 pounds, Melvin flashes good athleticism at a variety of positions, showing two-point ability as a 9-technique or playing inside as a 1- or 3-technique. He displays natural knee bend and hip flexibility, as well as above average foot and body quickness at the point of attack. Melvin can generate penetration with his long arms and heavy hands.
