It's likely Russ would still be starting if Giants are 3-3. I'm not even looking at the record so much sure I would like to see us win of course but it's about the progression of Dart and the oline.

I'm baffled by this Giants coach/GM. I was waiting for them to get fired 2 games ago.

They let Saquon go...he has an all world year. They cut Jones, and he looks like Joe Montana. Yet, they draft Dart and Skat....so they must know something...or so it appears.

Dart has been really, really good. Great field vision, feel for pressure and just enough legs to scramble well. Keeps his eyes up well. And he's just a little psycho, which could be what you need to survive in NY and not be impacted by the media/fans.

That would be a mistake because Dart is much more mobile, plus they are not throwing the year away no matter who is in there.

Russ is beyond washed - Daboll is smart enough to see that. He went yelling into the medical tent yesterday scrambling to get Dart back on the field after Russ threw his one pass into the ground. I'm honestly not sure why Winston isn't backing him up at this point - not sure why they're even holding both on the roster. My only guess is that at least Russ isn't throwing the ball to the other team, as bad as he is.

I saw Dart in preseason vs Buffalo and immediately thought he’d be good, regardless of preseason competition. He looked great, and Daboll for any of his warts is a master offensive coach.

The Giants have been a disaster for a while now but they picked my favorite college QB in Dart and my favorite college player in Skattebo. They're at least fun to watch now.

Oddly enough I don’t love Ole Miss and wasn’t all that impressed with him in college but he’s got tons of talent.

As long as those two goons don’t get their heads taken off, they are going to be a lot of fun to watch. Dart has a little bit of Eli in him where he’s just goofy enough to be perfect for NY. A tightly starched guy like Jones was never wound right for NY.

I don't like Dart lowering his head/shoulder like Cam does. I'm not worried about Skattebo, he's not that big but dude is just built different, he's the one doing all the dishing.

Dart reminds me so much of Baker Mayfield.

The lowering of the head into the defender on the sideline was something else. So was high fiving the ref. It's all fun until he gets his bell rung and turns into Tua.

I never said to throw the year away, just saying realistically speaking and say Giants are 3-3 or 4-2 and it’s likely Russ is still the starting qb. Wouldn’t be my choice but that most likely would be the case. So you would be looking at it like the 2022 season where your winning but very limited at qb, and winning with smoke and mirrors.

I do believe the change at qb would most likely have been in November if Russ wasn’t so awful.

Giants weren't winning any games with Russ at QB, he's awful now.

If the Giants made Dart the day one starter, they're .500 or better right now.

Well they didn’t make him the day 1 starter, Giants thought Russ would be average and they were wrong. Russ was gonna be a 2 month place holder at best. It’s time to move forward with Dart and not get into what ifs.

Russ' fall from grace will be a documentary at some point. I've never seen a QB drop like a rock like he has. The guy was a Pro Bowl 40TD/12INT guy in 2020 at age 31, 2nd team AP year before to hot mess and what is now unplayable. Teams can't get rid of him fast enough. Seattle made out like bandits and committed highway robbery of Denver for that one.
