Is there a discount? The AD is basically setting a deadline for supporting the program, which isn't a great way to treat loyal fans IMO. Tickets are still super cheap and easy to come by for great seats including behind the glass and that isn't changing anytime soon... especially with next year's home slate.

Maybe the big12 announcement will come before that? :D

I mean you are going to get them anyways. Are you holding out?

I thought it was to pay for the kids scholarships? Don't the ticket prices go to offset the rent we pay the CRDA for using Rentschler? Thought the schools can't be directly involved in NIL to athletes
Well, maybe I'm wrong. I know that season tix for Syracuse FB/MBB/WBB all require "donations" as well and the way they seemed to phrase it is that it is a contribution to the NIL pool.

It’s all athletic department revenue to be shared under the new model starting academic 25-26.

If they were smart, which is historically a big if, the way to seize momentum is run a Christmas special to pick up new season ticket holders for first time buyers. Discount it 50% for the first year, 25% year 2, and 10% year 3. You just bought a cool present for your Dad, brother, whatever and the school probably locked in a long time holder if they continue to build.
Maybe they'll do that after everyone renews so the long time season ticket holders are able to keep their seats?
I know. Wishful thinking and giving more credit for thinking how to market tickets than is probably due.

I don't think cheapening the product is all that smart. And Husky Value seats are one thing, giving new season ticket buyers a 50 % discount over a 25 year vet is another. If that happens, I drop my seats instantly. And if I decide I still want to go, my buddy can buy them in his name. I save $300.
