I was surprised UConn didn't have a block of tickets in a section for the weekend. It seems Quinnipiac and Yale did from what I am hearing. Was UConn offered a block from Sacred Heart but declined it to purposely cause more strife for UConn fans with this tournament, pushing the narrative to have XL be a permanent host? I know Yale got a block of tickets when Quinnipiac hosted 2 years ago. Why is UConn not being offered or worse yet, declining a section of tickets for its fans? Just a thought.

Luckily, I was able to get tickets on Stubhub in section 107.

The way to do that probably is not to have Connecticut host there. Instead, we should host at our on campus barn too. Then when opposing squads indicate that they want more seeds, you offer up the XL as an alternative neutral forum for everyone.

Right now the narrative is hey we just want you to have it at our host facility. Probably not a winning play.

Our Power Play is so anemic, I would almost rather turn down every PP we get. It almost takes away any energy we get.
How our 5 on 3 can look so painful is beyond me.
I would rather use our 3rd and 4th line our power play - because they can't be worse, and then roll out our 1 and 2 lines right after the PP. I wish I was joking.

Strange that the broadcast is tracking total shots. Shots are actually 12-9 QU. The broadcast showed 20-19 UConn at the end of the period. They even used that number in the between periods recap. Seems to be a disconnect somewhere .
