2025 Bowl Predictions

KryHavok? Is this Jack Carr? Appreciate your support though.
Haha, nope. Havok after my favorite X-Men character (but with his X-Factor outfit, not the earlier version with the ridiculous headpiece).

It's not a popular opinion, and there's little way to enforce it, but since student-athletes want to be paid (sometimes Big Bucks, Big Bucks, no Whammy...) for playing sports in college, then they need to show up to honor their "contract". Don't show up for work in the real world, you don't get paid. That should apply for bowl games for schools that qualify to play in. Again this would be ideal, but it's likely never going to be realistically governed.

NIL is still so new and evolving. They could offer NIL in increments. A player gets a certain base, gets certain bonuses for performance, and another bonus for the bowl game. Is football the only game where players opt out from post-season play? Even if your team makes the CFP and you are a top draft pick, why play for a championship if you are risking your big payday. You could be the best QB making millions but you know you will make more in the NFL. Or you could be a surprise like Joe Fagnano making much less and you realize, you might have a pro career you weren't expecting. Unless some tackle goes for your knees. Why should any college player risk playing any college bowl game if they have a shot at The League.

The people running college football with NIL might just blow it all up because money rules all.

Okay all you idiot 9 year olds. Back to task. CBS SPORTS has us in Tampa v. USF IN the Gasparilla Bowl.
Meh, or Yeh?
