Interesting landing spot for Okokoh. Think it could work but she'll need to build up her strength a bit to handle the SEC.
That's one way of putting it...What a random thing to say
WOW … can’t imagine her thinking that this was a good idea.I'm terrible at embedding links but Harper Peterson (of Stanford) just committed to Tennessee on Instagram. Curious choice given her reasons for leaving Stanford, but I guess she's used to playing when things are Rocky at the Top..
I've always like Alyssa Latham: she was dynamite as a frosh at Syracuse. Hope the return to the ACC will be good for her.Carys Baker's replacement, perhaps?
Second Volunteer-turned-Hokie of the cycle.
From South Bend Washington HS (home of Skylar Diggins) to Purdue to Michigan State to Valley of the Sun...
Wenzel didn't leave. Nelson did.I've always like Alyssa Latham: she was dynamite as a frosh at Syracuse. Hope the return to the ACC will be good for her.
Hurst apparently broke into the Volunteer (mass) rotation towards the end of the year and shot well from three (41%).
So yes, perhaps she can step into the long-distance void left by Baker and/or Wenzel. She's got three years and Duffy is solid at development.
And Madison St. Rose is either visiting or taking a visit.
Coach Redus swung big here. Let's see if it pays off.
Very intrigued by this landing spot for Patterson.
Interesting as I think playing for a coach like Brooks could be good for her. Teonni Key has thrived since transferring from UNC. I could see her having a similar role as Soule did at VT while working on expanding her game.I'm also intrigued ... though in my case, at least, I'm not initially loving it. I'm a huge fan of Ayanna and not at all a fan of Kenny Brooks. I was hoping she would land at a school where she'd have a clear path to playing time and a coaching staff that would help develop her arsenal and rebuild her confidence post-injuries (e.g., maybe Kristy Curry at USF, Carla at Northwestern if she wanted to be closer to home, Lisa Fortier at Gonzaga, Coach Jack at Syracuse). It doesn't feel to me like this is the best fit for that—but what do I know? At the end of the day, I wish nothing but the best for Yanna. I hope she finds great success and happiness at Kentucky.
