2025-26 Coaching Carousel

I didn't think that Belichick and Co understand the talent difference between the NFL and college. In the NFL the difference between all pro and 3rd string isn't all that big. In NCAA the difference between all American and 3rd string is massive.

To be fair, Sanders went 4-8 his first year even with the two stud transfers.
 
I think moving from the NFL to college or vise versa is not that easy. And not everybody can do it. 18-20 year old guys have a different understanding of the world than 30 year old guys with families and mortgages depute high salaries. And as CCSU pointed out the difference between starters and backups in college can be huge. In the NFL it is a matter of degree.

That’s probably the least of his problems.

As much as Valby is off the rails with his ditties, ole Bill and his belle don't deserve any o' our pities, it's great that he adds to the acc's follies, and being able to mock them all gives me grand jollies. 😁

I was gonna open up at Toad's Place, but they told me they closed permanently and to never come back again.

No one will care in 20 years. That's when you judge the strength of a legacy. I am not a fan, but legacies that large don't get ruined in the end without something major happening.

I heard you the first time. I disagree. His last few years at the Patriots…resulting in his getting fired…followed by his embarrassing transition to UNC…will definitely impact how he is perceived.

Particularly when it came out that the Falcons didn’t hire Belichick because Kraft told Blank that Bill couldn’t be trusted.

To those who wonder how the Big 10 schools could possibly lose when the private equity money hits, here's your answer. They'll just blow it all on buyouts.
 
Not thrilled Mora and Benedict haven't put out a joint statement stating Mora isn't interested and wants to build UConn. Every time it looks like UConn football is getting some momentum, stuff like this happens and it's a program reset.

Really really interested to see who Penn State gets...top 10 gig in college football IMO.

I doubt he would leave, but Penn State should go hard after Cignetti.
