New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu suffered a high-grade UCL tear on her right, shooting hand during Game 4 of the WNBA Finals, a source familiar with the situation told ESPN on Thursday.
Sometimes more than meets the eye?
I really appreciate and admire modern players like Sabrina who are old school about injury versus hurt.
Regardless of the sport by season end and playoff everybody's to some extent hurt. It's increasingly rare when modern athletes go out and play without comment particularly in this world of ubiquitous social media.

I try to be in spite of my constant invective against the million dollar coach as well as the administration in Tempe that initially hired and continues to support a very nice person who's Way beyond her depth coaching in a P5 now P4 conference.
