Disagree - it looks like Mora's plea for more NIL came through and now it is attracting higher end talent.
You do realize you actually have to watch tape and recruit these kids and not just throw money at them right? The money helps but I’m sure we’re not outspending schools for these kids

Of course I realize this, but better NIL has to have played a role in getting these higher profile players over the last week or two.
 
“UConn head football coach Jim Mora announced the Huskies have added 10 transfer student-athletes who will join the Huskies for the spring semester. The 10 new players join the previously announced six transfers and 12 incoming freshmen headed to UConn for the 2024 season.”

Montre Miller is a 5-11 190lb DB from Blythewood, South Carolina > Kent State > WVA (Grad Transfer) Other offers from Jacksonville State, Mississippi State, Notre Dame, Texas State and UAB.


 


Jayden Bass is a 6-6 320lb OL from Springfield Central High School, Springfield MA attending Syracuse University (Transfer Portal w/ four years of eligibility remaining). Other current offers from Akron, Bryant, FAMU, Liberty, Maine, Marshall, Monmouth, ODU, Tennessee Tech, UMass and UTEP.

Jayden took an official visit to UConn coming out of Springfield Central.

 


Val Kondratenko is a 6-5 265lb OL/DL from Brighton High School in Brighton New York. Other offers from Albany (PWO), Albright, Avila University, Central Connecticut (PWO), Clarion, Edinboro, Hobart, Ithaca, John Carroll, Merrimack (PWO), Pace, Seton Hill, Stony Brook (PWO), SUNY-Brockport, SUNY-Cortland, Southern Connecticut, Utica and Westfield.
