Florida fans don’t have unrealistic expectations. They are a top flight school in a fertile recruiting area…with infinite resources. There is nothing holding them back from being a top 10 school every year. Mullen didn’t recruit well…he admitted he didn‘t like recruiting. Florida kept losing key recruiting battles when he was a coach.

I think the is a good x’s and o’s guy. And now what I live in LV…i hope he does well here. But, I worry that he will struggle with recruiting.

Since you llke to tell everyone on here that you know more about football than everyone else, I am sure you know if a coach starts out strong and starts to fade…maybe he is just winning with the prior coaches players. And if a coach improves over time maybe it’s because he is now winning with his players and got rid of the prior coaches players.

Now that Napier has gotten rid of Mullen’s players, he has no excuses. But I wouldn’t call Mullen a success at Florida because he had two good seasons with another coach’s players.
