Thanksgiving week and CFB rivalry weekend didn't draw many eyeballs. SCar vs Iowa State on Turkey Day on Fax should have generated decent numbers but they have not yet been disclosed.

Thank you as always to @whom111

Interesting to see the bridge show coverage ratings being included.

I don't even know what that is was. @whom feeds me the info
I assumed it was the post game/pre game coverage between those two games. Indicates to me that the audience didn't immediately drop off after the Tennessee - Iowa game while waiting for Louisville - UConn

Viewership wasn't helped with the UConn/Louisville game starting after 9:30 PM.

Wow. And against CFB games too.

I have a feeling that many people who enjoy skipping commercials took the same approach as me. I started the UConn game and watched up until halftime where I switched to watch the playoffs, which was already an hour into the game, so I could fast forward over commercials and boring spots. Then at halftime of that game I switched back to the UConn game and finished it. I basically got to skip and commercials, timeouts and halftime analysis in the most efficient manner possible for both games.

Contrary to popular belief, it's because of this that I am a believer that it is good for women's sports to be played alongside other big games because it provides an alternative game to watch during commercials and may bring more new eyeballs to the sport. I believe this same effect will happen on Superbowl Sunday when South Carolina plays at Texas.

These numbers are great! 3.7 million to start thought it was going to be a blowout, but 2.2 million stuck around for the comeback.

I guess they all tuned in to see Rayah Marshall vs Ice Brady in the post and to see how many minutes the freshmen would play.

Unless I misunderstand how tv viewership averages work, with 3.76 million viewers in the first quarter-hour of play, and average game viewership of 2,227,000 for USC-UConn, the stick-around viewership group was materially lower than 2,227,000. Great eyeball numbers in any event.

Interesting to see the bridge show coverage ratings being included.
Interesting to compare to other....."sports"

In the broadcast sphere, over 350 hours of national telecasts for MLP and the PPA Tour were showcased across FOX, CBS, ESPN, ESPN2, Amazon Prime, Tennis Channel, FS1, FS2, CBS Sports Network, and more in 2024. Pickleballtv, the 24/7 pickleball streaming platform, saw more than 1 billion minutes watched by fans throughout the season.

The PPA Mesa Arizona Cup FOX national broadcast saw 501,000 viewers tune in, the largest-ever pro pickleball TV audience, outdrawing the MLS Cup broadcast on FOX in December.

A few updates. Sorry I got behind. There is a missing week. Also, the source that @awhom111 uses is not as reliable as in the past. Sorry, but here's what I've got.

So Nova-Creighton basically did the same as Marquette-UConn and tOSU-Maryland on the same network, same day. I find that a little odd, a little heartening.

And I think having the Nova-Creighton game being played at 8:30PM on a Sunday and getting those numbers is really good for the conference.

ESPN kind of screwed B12 by tipping off 30m after B10 title game started. I feel like we could've gotten a lot more eyeballs if we delayed tip an hour or more.

ESPN want these games back to back. That's what they do with Sundays during basketball season. They don't care about going up against the BIG10.

However, slotting the B12 game between the ACC and SEC games would have made more sense. Would have been interesting to see the SEC Championship numbers if that game tipped off at 5 pm.
