With the help of World Soccer Talk and some others, here are the predominant TV providers for the major leagues and competitions. I do not include TV channels that only get a few minor games a year.

Community Shield: ESPN+
EFL Cup: CBS Sports Network, Paramount+
EFL: CBS Sports Network, Paramount+

Italy:

Serie A: CBS, CBS Sports Network, Paramount+
Coppa Italia: CBS Sports Network, Paramount+
Supercoppa Italia: Paramount+

Spain:

La Liga: ABC, ESPN networks, ESPN+
Copa Del Rey: ESPN+
Supercopa: ESPN networks, ESPN+

Germany:

Bundesliga: ABC, ESPN networks, ESPN+
DFB Pokal: ESPN networks, ESPN+

France:

Ligue 1: Unkown as of now
Coupe de France: Unkown if deal with FOX networks includes this season

UEFA:

Champions League: CBS, CBS Sports Network, Paramount+

FYI:

Tomorrow morning on ESPN+ is the FA Community Shield.

Wednesday afternoon on Paramount+ is the UEFA Super Cup. A chance Mbappe makes his Madrid debut…

Two games into the Serie A season, and already AC Milan have set a timing of mid September on whether to fire their new head coach Paulo Fonseca. Jeez, what a disaster. I was hoping for a strong start so the Milan could catch Inter Milan and get that second star (20 domestic titles).

Four games into the new season, and the coach for AS Roma gets canned (he's had a poor run from the end of last season too). Still early in the season, but you don't expect a big team like Roma to be in 16th place.

In other news, one of Italy's (and mine for what it's worth as he's a fellow southerner) heroes from the 1990 World Cup, Salvatore ‘Totò’ Schillaci, has died at age 59 from colon cancer. I remember watching that '90 World Cup, replete with my Ciao regalia and cheering Totò on with the family as we watched the games. Shame they could win it on home soil, but I'll remember how awesome he made that tournament.

Hey Gunner supporters! Did you see that Bournemouth result? Dare we hope that the bubble has burst?

We're not doing much to take advantage if it has.

McKennie, back from injury, just had a beauty of a goal in a Champions League match between Juventus and Manchester City. He was given a great cross by Weah, Juve now up 2-0.

FWIW, I think I like the new Champions League format. It's produced more good games then before. I don't think watered-down has been a problem. Only a couple of teams have been non-competitive and some of the lower teams have surprised.

Yea, I kind of like it too. It will be interesting next week when they all play at the same time, see how everyone ends up. You'll have some trying to stay in top 8, some trying to get into top 8. Some trying to get into top 24 and some trying to stay in top 24. Only a handful that game 8 won't really matter for.

24 teams making it to the knockouts means more teams have a chance. It will be more interesting.

You know you're having a good year when you take off Mo Salah for Harvey Barnes and the benchwarmer scores in less than a minute.

Bundesliga ended yesterday, Top 4 went about as expected (even though Dortmund took a roundabout way to get there)
Freiburg in 5th a bit surprising since they had to replace Christian Streich after what seems forever.
Biggest surprises are the weak efort put forward by RB Leipzig and a Conference League birth for the little club that could, Mainz 05.:)

Of course having Arminia Bielefeld and Stuttgart in the Pokal Final messed up everyone's Bingo Cards!

Last day due Serie A is today, but the season's champions were determined on Friday. As a southern Italian, seeing Napoli win the scudetto under a southern Italian coach is a source of great pride. I've got no love for Inter, so I'm glad they didn't win another domestic title. Refs wanted inter to win the match cuz they didn't award Como a prenalty kick for a handball by Dimarco that could have tied the game up. That said, I will be rooting for them in the Champions League against PSG.

Conference Cup Final! One last chance this season to root against Chelsea!
