I think we get Zack Drawdy and then maybe like 3 more ‘23s down the road. Hopefully all these unranked guys turn out to just be slept on. Was kinda hoping for a better looking class. When it come to rankings, what Edsall had by now was somehow better.

We have show something in the field this fall- then see what you can do scooping up talent in Nov/Dec.

Also, my casual observation is that these recruiting websites have reduced their coverage of the bottom 1/2 of FBS the last few seasons leaving more players without “ratings.” There isn’t much money covering these schools and their reputation is really made on the banter surrounding the top 1/2.

The overlooked good news with the 2023 class- we are back in NJ.

I also believe that recruiting site staff that used to spend time on rating high school players has been diverted/distracted covering the portal and player movement there.

Just look @ the disparity in rankings between sites. Rivals has Ricky Lee (GA), Jackson Harper (CT-Prep) & Carsten Casady (NC) as 3* while 247 has all of them unranked. The only UConn commit w/ a ranking on 247 is Cameron Chadwick (3* NJ) while he has no ranking on Rivals. On3 is still trying to find their footing in the space.
 
On3 started out as really good to the smaller guys and then has faded more towards the upper side recently. Sad because I love On3 I think they're still the best site.

UConn Alum Jay Williams started his own recruit rankings site called recruitcertified.com -- Where he tries his best to do professional totally unbiased ratings and he's been pretty good about it, just is a one-man show so it's tough to cover a lot. I'm all for it, though!
