Things move quick out there

-> The Minnesota Golden Gophers Football program added a depth piece to their safety room on Tuesday afternoon in the form of Miami (OH) transfer Rowan Zolman. A 6-foot-4 defensive back, Zolman entered the transfer portal last week. He chose the Gophers over offers from UConn and Ohio <-

Grand Valley State WR Jahdae Walker:

Don't mind this one at all... Unlike how we did it under Edsall 2.0... We've got a lot more in place to take a flyer here... plus, this kid is from a historically productive lower division program... and you can't teach size (he's 6'4" tall)...

Chase Sowell is a 6-2 185lb WR from Humble Texas attending Colorado (Transfer Portal w/ 4 years eligibility remaining). Other offers from Charlotte, Delaware, ECU, Incarnate Word, Kent State, Northwestern State, North Texas, Prairie View A&M and Texas State.

“ Sowell also has a background in baseball, and it was hinted that he could return to the diamond in the future.”

Good to see the coaching staff is still looking for a wide receiver or two on the portal.

It is a need after the wide outs who left this spring

It can be a transient position. I remember the WR who transferred to UConn from Clemson who played every game as a freshman. Lost his spot to another freshman the following year. I don’t think he ever played at UConn or if he did then made little impact.

I don't remember this. Who was it?

During P's time here, Bryce McNeal but I thought he was a graduate transfer.
I think he was a graduate transfer. I could be wrong, but I think he never showed up at Uconn. Instead he went to another school at the last minute and quit the program before the season started because he lost interest in college football.

If one lost their interest in college football, playing for P would have been the perfect spot!

Jyaire Shorter is a 6-2 215lb WR from Killen Texas attending University of North Texas (Transfer Portal). Other offers from Marshall and Purdue.
