More accurately he's moving from a low level G-5 to P-2.

I think he was a modestly successful head coach and he had topped out with no clear path to becoming a head coach at a bigger program. So, you might as well take a P2 assistant job.

But to what end? Can't properly assess the players of you don't know what schemes the team plans to run.
