Gutsy effort by DePaul for the majority of the game. Really liked their coach’s halftime peptalk. The better team just ultimately had more when it mattered.

Xavier will have their hands full with the Nova/Creighton winner.

A couple of weeks ago, Villanova shredded Creighton’s defense by bringing Kalkbrenner into every pick and roll, and letting Dixon go to work against him on the perimeter

They’ve only done that action once so far tonight. As a result Creighton’s defense is holding strong
