2023-2024 UConn mens basketball roster

Interesting to note that no social media links are provided for any of the freshman. I wonder if that was a directive from Hurley.

Donovan listed at 280 instead of 265 last season, they didn't give him that extra inch we've heard so much about though. Singare is shrinking and they didn't list Cam at 5'9.
I saw him in the flesh recently and he's not fat in the least., in fact still looks thin.

I honestly didn't want to speculate on Donovan. It's going to be a thing for him his whole career, balancing strength vs agility and quickness. I trust the S&C staff.

Added muscle doesn't add volume to the body the way adipose tissue does, so if he's added weight to get to 280 it may well be muscle.........

TMI, dude.

So...we might have a starting lineup of:

Newton - 6'5 195
Spencer - 6'4 205
Castle - 6'6 215
Karaban - 6'8 220
Clingan - 7'2 280

That's pretty impressive size 1-to-5, plus it's nice to know frontcourt/wing pieces like Johnson, Ross and Roumoglou have grown since their previous listed weight.

15 lbs spread over a 7'3" frame could be barely noticeable
And that’s his off season weight. I doubt he’s able to maintain it over the course of the season . He end up at about 165 again

Wasn’t expecting singare to only be 6’10”
I've read that his wingspan is "average", that it is 6-11 and, that it is 7'3 with 9'6 standing reach.

So who the heck knows. He may become the new Hilton Armstrong.

Didn’t they list newton at 6’5 and Sanogo at 240 pounds? I’m not sure why anyone is taking the website listing’s seriously?

Edit: still listing Newton at 6’5 when he measured at 6’3.5 at the combine is pretty funny.

Roster measurements are in shoes.

6'3.5 without shoes at G-league combine/camp. 6'5 with shoes isn't an exaggeration at all, it's his playing height.

His height is 6’3.5, the website doesn’t say “height in shoes.” Those are two different measurements.

All of what they list is “in shoes”. Also, at a point in time when it comes to weight. Certainly changes over the course of a season.

It’d be nice if it was at least consistent. I don’t care about in shoes or not. Jackson was 6’5.5” w/out shoes at the combine so he should’ve been listed 6’7 if Newton was listed 6’5. I just want it consistent so we could gauge it better. Although, I supposed it doesn’t really matter at the end of the day
