How many spots do we have left? Just wondering if they are getting the “commit now or were moving on” speech ..whatever they are saying it’s working!!

Absolutely love Takoda Bridges, but, at this point, a little redundant as to what we already have. A bigger WR like Xavier Brown seems to be the better fit.

It’s not a threat when you make prospects aware of the limited room at UConn and all the schools in 2022 thanks the Covid bonus year granted to all athletes in 2020. It would be a disservice not to mention it at some point with proper tone.

The first four years of Edsall 2.0 we took our full 25 max as we where chronically under the full 85 scholarship cap thanks to departures. Coming into this fall we added 19 new kids including transfers and our scholarship situation appears to be over the 85 man cap at the moment (although rumors we have a couple academic departures coming up which would bring us back to 85). With only 10 or so kids in their final season in 2021 we are likely to have our smallest class in recent times. Looking over the red shirt juniors, maybe a few don’t return and of course some kids will just leave, so maybe we end up around 15-18 kids.

Anyway it’s all about how you deliver the message, but somewhere in the message it’s likely noted the fact that we have fewer seats and same with all the schools. It’s just being practical about the situation. Commit soon- because we aren’t waiting long.

Credit to @PAWSARF for finding this one. We have another commit; 5'11'' D'Mon Brinson DB from Dillard HS in Fort Lauderdale FL. Other offers from Colorado State, Utah State, Middle Tennessee, South Dakota St and an offer back in 2020 from South Carolina.

Looks like D'Mon was part of the big visit this past week. He has pictures from the visit posted on his instagram along with his commitment which came out about an hour ago.

Looks from Miami, Florida State, and Florida too. I think that puts us at 6 definite signees from FL, with a couple more rumored to have quietly committed from Florida. That's not bad, not bad at all!
 
Hope that Brinson commit is solid. He's definitely what's needed on D for us. Lord please get him signed up by November
 
Did some digging of my own on this Brinson kid on the web. The 247 profile I saw on him doesn't even have us on the radar. No doubt though, that he visited this past weekend, but, that commit part looks kinda iffy

Have your looked at his actual Instagram account? He’s definitely not hiding from his decision. He’s been reposting all the support that is coming in. He seems as on board as anyone.

btw, signing day is mid December.

Historically, Florida ... Texas, much of the South ... has far more late switching of verbal commitments up until signing day. We all know what verbals are. Let's just all enjoy these guys and play the cards we are dealt as we know this game.
 
Sorry guys. This kid's clearly an IG poster...not much Twitter for him. Just thought he'd follow suit like the rest. Clearly he doesn't.

As usual..... and not only that they never rate half of our guys. As of now they have 7 of our signees up there, but only 3 have ratings. SMH
