Bummer. But this is a great event.
Well, luckily you’re the only one that feels that way. There’s always one. This game took forever to play. No flow. Teams didn't start playing until the 3rd period. Zero backchecking on the game winning goal.
So your idea of flow is a first period that takes almost an hour to play?Well, luckily you’re the only one that feels that way. There’s always one.
Nutmeg death match?CT Ice. I think it deserves a better name, something a little more creative.
Who doesn't like the tournament. They just need a better name.Nutmeg death match?
Seriously, like most everyone, I love this tournament. I think it’s a smart way to promote Connecticut hockey and great for UConn.

It took 35 minutes to play. We’re you abducted by aliens? So your idea of flow is a first period that takes almost an hour to play?

I wondered about this too, but right now I’m just gonna enjoy itWill they ever rotate it? Please don’t tell me they are only doing it at Bridgeport.
Take a cue from the Beanpot. Play Day One on a February Monday evening, followed by Day Two the following Monday evening. Do not compete for TV exposure with NFL playoffs, UConn men's and/or women's basketball, and weekend afternoon family time. Scrap Bridgeport, either stage at the XL Center, or rotate among campus facilities until ticket demand justifies Hartford. Great concept, let's focus on execution.

I’m not sure the Mondays is the best idea, but I agree with the concept of avoiding playoff weekend.Take a cue from the Beanpot.
