I have no insight on the timing of an announcement just that we are in very good shape with a player there.

Edsall's tweet for the Tyler P commit had only 9 blue/white circles and 9 100s. Same number as when Hardy committed. Walker may already be off of Edsall's list.

I don't think there is any rhyme or reason for the number of Blue/White or 100 emojis. The commit tweet sent out when Chris Johnson committed had 9 as well. A few of them have had that number now that i am looking back on it.

I wish RE would come out and finally publicly embrace independence.
He went to great lengths to avoid the question last year, to the extent it was clear he disapproved. That in itself did not send a good message to potential recruits.

Given their seeming initial recruiting uptick, now would be a great time to extol the benefits of independence. Highlighting the ability to attract higher impact players that want to play the likes of Clemson, Ole Miss etc.
