I’ve tried that in the past... becomes too much to track (it’s hard enough tracking decommits.)

This guy is attempting that here but the overall list has quite a few inaccuracies in it.

This prospect master status list an ambitious. Good luck to whomever is making the attempt.

Sidebar - I hope our next commit is a QB or nifty WR.

Any current offers out that you have your eyes on that is a reasonable get at this point?

I haven't been making an effort this year. I like to wait until June/July to see where kids camp and see how the first few commits fall and then start digging into the process. With no camps and no visits it certainly makes recruit watching/speculation harder than ever. It fact, it seems like we will be dealing with mostly "out of the blue" surprises this year until travel loosens up and kids get on campus.

That all said, I am hopeful we have a little more traction in New England this year..but we'll see - it can't come at a sacrifice to quality.

Jacksonville Florida TE/DE Christopher Johnson:

When UConn offered Johnson back in 2019 his other offers were Rutgers and University of Miami. Chris now also holds additional offers from BGSU, ECU, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Grambling State, Rhode Island, Savannah State, South Alabama, Stetson, Tulane, USF, VaTech and WKU.

Miles Capers is a 6-5 220lb LB from Sumter High School in Sumter South Carolina. Other offers from AppState, Charlotte, Indiana, Kansas, Liberty, MTSU, Missouri, ODU, Tennessee, UCF, Vanderbilt, Virginia, WKU and WVA.

Highlights

There are a few dudes we seem to have some traction with like Modeste, Yates, Pajuste, Ugbaja and Palmer based simply on their twitter inaction with UConn. And so perhaps one of these guys is our new commit and that would be great. However, my fingers are crossed for a guy like Tyler Phommachanh.

Anyone watch his highlights? Lots to like. Big enough arm, likes to push the ball downfield and keeps looking to pass when scrambling, has solid scramble ability, shows some ability to make timing throws and touch passes, but the best part I think is his ability to throw on the run. He really excels throwing while scrambling. If there is one thing he needs to work on it would be throwing into traffic, he's a bit of gambler. Overall, Tyler would be an excellent foundation piece for the 2021 class. And he's local, which has its own appeal. We all would like to see some talented local kids represent the Block C.

Just saying.
