Mike Woodworth is not named in this story. I think because of his defensive versatility he is more likely to be drafted before Toppa, who is named as a draft candidate.

Fangraphs ran an article couple days ago on prospects playing in the NCAA tourney. Didn't have anyone from UConn ranked. Feole and Wallace were rated 35+, with Prato at 35.

A @UConnBSB commit to look out for these next few days is 1B/LHP Reggie Crawford. The lefty is hitting .482/.585/.929 in PA prep, throws mid-90’s and is projected to go on day two or three. Would be immense for UConn if he ends up in Storrs next year.

I can see it simply because how much higher could he expect to go next year. They could have also had an agreement with him to take him now but at a slightly lower rate. Hopefully he gets at or even above.

He's a RP and while technically he's a junior, there's a ceiling on how high he can go. I hope he gets as much as possible though

With Wallace and Prato being selected today, this is the first draft since 2011 that more than one UConn player have been taken in the top ten rounds of the same draft. In 2011, Springer and Barnes went in the first round, Ahmed in the second round. Great to see that happen today.

There is no "technically" being a junior. He will be at or near slot, Rockies have picked all college players thus far giving no reason for Rockies to push him way under slot to pay someone else.
