Does Mo Currie do that site and work all by herself? That is really impressive and a ton of work. That's awesome.

Lou after Euro Cup Game.png
Lou after last nights win. Sister Karlie, @KSam44 watched game, on line, and scored the game and had Lou with 20 points 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. FIBA Site now has updated stats. Lou 20 pts, 6 reb, 2 assists and 2 steals. Lou shot 6 for 9 overall, 2 for 3 from 2pt range and 4 for 6 from downtown, plus 4 for 4 from FT line. She played 29.32 minutes

Lou's sis Karlie, @KSam44 played today for her Spanish team Perfumeris Avenida and lit up the stat sheet. Karlie scored 33 points on 12 for 14 shooting (8 for 10 from Downtown) and 4 for 4 from 2pt land. She also had 6 rebounds 3 assists and 3 steals. PA won 106 to 45. Tiff Hayes did not play, with a small leg injury. The 33 points for Karlie are a career hi at the college and above level.

No, I do virtually all of the writing. Mo does some writing, mainly the Korean League, since she played there for five years and is familiar with the teams and players, and some WNBA stuff where she has inside knowledge. Mo does all of the social media and picked out the design. She founded the site and pays the bills so she is the one who can get us back online.

So, Karlie is the 3-point shooting Samuelson?

Half way through 2Q KLS has not made appearance. Injured?

Lou only Flammes not to play. Injury? Sick? Excused? What does Mother Jones say?

Mother Jones has not weighed in.

FIBA website boxscore said she did not play due to "Coach decision". That doesn`t really shed any light, but I`d rather read that than "due to injury". Best case would be minor illness. Doubt very, very much that she is in the doghouse.

Flammes won 96-64, so they obviously didn`t need her. Now 3-0 in their bracket and very likely to go 6-0. 1-3 in league play but that should improve quickly.

From a brief mention in L'Union Newspaper in France. Note to read the entire article you have to be a subscriber, which I am not.

Carolo Express Flames
... The other points Halloween Atmosphere Even if technically, Halloween is tonight, it was already time to dress up yesterday at the Arena. It must be said that the Flames had set up a special offer: for all disguised people, a place to 5 €! As a result, we saw a lot of witches and other devils filling the stands. Samuelson provided Katie - Lou Samuelson was on the scoresheet last night but the American has not played a single minute on the floor: affected knee this week, she still felt some pain and should see a specialist .. .

That sounds very troubling. :(:(:(

I imagine it is very difficult to trust medical staff outside your own country

I think the country that gave us Louis Pasteur probably has some well educated and trained doctors. I believe she will be well treated.

I dont know the status of her injury. She was on the bench, in warm up stuff. She stood up almost every time a teammate made a three pointer. She also climbed over the little wall that is in front of her bench at a time out. I saw her walk and it didnt look like a knee brace was on her. More hope for something minor, then the dreaded 3 letters for knee injuries.

Crossing my fingers. "Katie" Samuelson is now listed as Flammes leading scorer by average, even after scoring only 3 points in her first game.

Reading the translations of Flammes’ fans, it appears coach indicates Lou’s injury is severe.

On IG, it appears as if Lou is back in SoCal.

Girl can’t catch a break.

Man, Lou has had terrible luck with injuries in her career!

BTW, still looking for info on Moriah!
