Flammes Carolo, KLS team from France, won their first Euro Cup game today against Liege Panthers, from Belgium. 81-48.
Apparently this game was not streamed on Fiba Baskets You Tube site.
Box Score below

KLS had 16 points and 10 Rebounds in 27 minutes. The 16 points led her team.
Yes, bench got more minutes in rout. Lou led scoring but was only 1/7 from three. Those 10 rebounds figure was third highest on team! After scoring only 3 points in first game, she has been in double figures every game.

Lots of familiar names in these recaps:

EuroLeague:

EuroCup:

Generally speaking, FIBA's YouTube channel has video for EuroLeague games and some EuroCup games each week.

This week they didnt have KLS or KSam44 games on their You tube channel. Followed games on FIBA live scores.

Lous Team Flammes Carolo lost 66-59 on the road today.
Lou had 10 points 6 rebounds and 2 assists.
The flammes led at half 42-34 and came out as flat as possible in the 2nd half, scoring only 17 points.
With 7.48 left in the 4th quarter Lou had her leg rolled on(I think) and bruised her knee or shin. She finished the game but looked a bit hobbled the rest of the way.

Yeah, the Flammes were heavily favored in this game but managed to blow it. Like rest of team, Lou did her scoring early and went cold at beginning of second half. Her defense looked good but in first half the Flammes were plagued with turn overs. She seemed in pain and slowed a bit but managed to score, something the Flammes forgot how to do. She took another bad fall going for an errant pass but played on. Team doesn’t pass well. They tend to get in pinned near basket.

Lous team Flammes Carolo won their 2nd straight Euro Cup match 80-58. Strange that the team is 2-0 vs Euro Cup teams and 1-3 vs French League teams.

Note the stats link below is incomplete. FIBA must have had transmission problems with its last 3 games played Wednesday in Europe as all had incomplete scores in the 4th quarter.

With 8.36 left in the 4th quarter Lous team led 66-49. At that time Lou had 15 points and 4 rebounds. Hopefully full box score will be updated tomorrow.

I did notice this as well. Kinda frustrating. Good thing I have the website bookmarked.

Lou was 4 for 5 from the field including 3 for 3 on three pointers and 4 for 4 from the line. Getting decent minutes (23 out of 32 "so far") although oddly enough I don`t think she started. Kim Mestdagh of the Washington Mystics joined the team recently.

Lou should be taking at least 15 shots a game IMHO.

This is their first road win, and both Euro Cup wins have been blowouts. Good chance they will go undefeated in their bracket. All of their French League losses have been on the road.

Yes, she also had two steals and was tied for leading scorer, 12 of her points came in second quarter when the Flammes took charge led by Lou. No one on team takes a lot of shots, Lou’s only miss was her lone shot in 1st q.

Does Mo Currie do that site and work all by herself? That is really impressive and a ton of work. That's awesome.

Lou's sis Karlie, @KSam44 played today for her Spanish team Perfumeris Avenida and lit up the stat sheet. Karlie scored 33 points on 12 for 14 shooting (8 for 10 from Downtown) and 4 for 4 from 2pt land. She also had 6 rebounds 3 assists and 3 steals. PA won 106 to 45. Tiff Hayes did not play, with a small leg injury. The 33 points for Karlie are a career hi at the college and above level.

Here is a game from today that might be of interest:

Namur 61: Mestdagh 15/6r Vanderwal 11 Silva 10/9r Geldof 8/6r Imovbioh 6
Cegled 68: Brezinova 24/7r Gorjanacz 15/7r Higgins 12/7r Swanier 10/7a

Does Mo Currie do that site and work all by herself? That is really impressive and a ton of work. That's awesome.

No, I do virtually all of the writing. Mo does some writing, mainly the Korean League, since she played there for five years and is familiar with the teams and players, and some WNBA stuff where she has inside knowledge. Mo does all of the social media and picked out the design. She founded the site and pays the bills so she is the one who can get us back online.

So, Karlie is the 3-point shooting Samuelson?
