2018 UConn Commit - Brendan Casey (Fairfield CT)

you aren't the only one. typically people think it's just Stamford/Westport/Greenwich/Darien/New Canaan when it comes to fairfield county football
Anything south of New Milford or Kent is Fairfield County. Also southeast of New Milford is mostly Fairfield County. Even Sherman which is in the southern Litchfield Hills is part of Fairfield County, although most Sherman kids go to New Milford High which is not part of Fairfield County. Shelton is also part of Fairfield County, yet Shelton does not play sports in the FCIAC, plays in SCC. Though many years ago there was some talk of Shelton High joining the FCIAC, not sure why it didn't happen.

Lol thanks for the geography lesson, rob

we've had our share of fairfield county kids, scholarship and walkon players. Lutrus, Sidebotham and Westmark from Brookfield, Easley from Bunnell, Omakaro from Danbury, Cochran was at Masuk, etc. etc. it's not as rare as a lot of people think.
Trevardo Williams was a Fairfield County kid, can't believe you left him out. Way to go.

If he's athletic enough wonder about a look at DE. If that were an option would have to start working the speed early. If not, the frame could potentially get there for OL but you're talking maybe 2 full years.

Definitely looks more like a DE than an offensive lineman, and any big kid who can jump a foot and a half straight up has to have some leg speed too.

The best Fairfield County QB in UCONN history - Dan O, from Shelton.

Looks like he could be Susan's son. Wait, if true that's nepotism. Is that allowed??
