Is there or will there be such a thing as an 'official' 40 time from pro day? I don't know the intricacies of actually measuring but I'm always surprised they don't have a method of clocking a true start to finish time by some electronic means that will deliver an official number no matter what.

they'll have an official time later most likely, the unofficial time comes out first because they are hand timed by the scouts/ reporters that are there.

Guys run some ridiculous numbers on pro days. You see some 4.1 and 4.2, so I'm not surprised to see Green the 4.3 range. Noel's 4.42 is more than respectable. Those crazy numbers just make scouts go back and re-look at your tape. Hope they replay Noel outrunning the entire Houston secondary.

3 cone drill time was middle of the road for S/DB's at the combines, and as mentioned above the 60 yard shuttle time would be second of all positions and the fastest among S/DB's. Just keeps getting better for Obi.

Glad Thomas improved his 40 time.
