Obi as a safety is gone, Summers could depart as a JR from CB. And I think John Greene is a SR. Can't have enough CB's coming. Already thin with Adams, Ellis Marder, and Hadley gone before this season. We do have 3 DBs currently committed. Weer could be full already.

What a week! I am extremely thankful to receive my 6th full scholarship offer from the University of Connecticut!!
Hunter Long is a 6-5 235lb TE from Exeter High School in Exeter New Hampshire. Will be doing a PG year up @ Deerfield Academy for 2017. Attended UConn Camp today.
Other offers from Holy Cross, UMass, New Hampshire, Fordham and BC.
I wish nothing but the worst luck for him.Windsor's right up the road from UCONN. I'll give Pinnock a pass.. problem wanted to get a little further away.. Don't blame him in a case like that... Best of luck at BC...
I wish nothing but the worst luck for him.
He turned his back on his home state to join a team up the road which we despise.
F the niceties, I hope he flops in the most epic of ways

I would like to officially announce my commitment to BOSTON COLLEGE!! #WeAreBC #GoEagles pic.twitter.com/K6SacobYZW

It appears that Josh Thompson (Garland, TX) is a hard commit for Texas (per 247 as of 7/27/16)
So there's two Josh Thompson's with similar builds in Garland TX? What are the oddsThat's a different Josh Thompson.
The Josh Thompson we offered is this guy: Josh⭐⭐⭐ (@thompson2418) | Twitter
So there's two Josh Thompson's with similar builds in Garland TX? What are the odds
No... the one who committed to Longhorns is from Nacogdoches Texas not Garland (they are a 3 hours apart). As @Dynasty points out - the Josh Thompson that holds UConn offer is from Garland Texas.
Josh Thompson's Highlights
Windsor is right up 2 interstates and a major state route from UConn and it takes 45 minutes to get there. This is like saying Shrewsbury, MA is suburb of Boston.
It is considered a suburb of Boston.

Blessedto receive offer #13 from the University of Connecticut #GoHuskies
Stanley Hubbard III is a 6-3 305 OL from St. John's College High School in Washington DC. Other offers from Army, Navy, Air Force, Temple, Bucknell, Fordham, Marshall, Monmouth, Nevada, ODU, Robert Morris and UNC Charlotte.
Funny josh maize story. About year and a half ago my basketball team needed a big guy. Had a Deerfield kid who brought Josh. He needed a pair of shorts I gave him my uconn shorts from my car. Was a great kid. Never got the shorts back. Hopefully it helps sway him to uconn.

You mean Worcester.
No, I lived there. Most of the people in Shrewsbury work inside 495.
But it doesn't matter in this case. Windsor is close enough to Storrs that a kid who "wants to get away from mom and dad" isn't going to UConn. Same with a kid in Shrewsbury going to BC.
You're right that it really doesn't apply to your original point, but Shrewsbury shares a border with Worcester and is separated from Boston by at least 6 towns (Northboro...where I grew up and lived for 18-22 years depending on how you measure), Westboro, Southboro, Framingham, Natick, and Newton off the top of my head traveling east on 9). IMHO, it really is a stretch to call Shrewsbury a suburb of Boston, when it shares a border with the 2nd largest city (by population) in New England, is outside 495, and not in a neighboring county. Northboro just bare touches 495 and it is not a considered a Boston 'burb (Also in Worcester County). On the other hand, I used to deliver the Middles.e.x. Newspaper in my neighborhood. So there's that.
I know. I have friends in Northboro and lots of people there commute to Boston, almost all of them work in the Boston suburbs or the city. It's certainly considered a suburb of Boston to everyone I know. Hell, they have lots of people commuting to Boston from places like Whitinsville now, down 146. Home prices keeps pushing people further out. I'm in Franklin, further from Boston than Northboro is, and the Boston commuter rail has two stops in town.
It's just a perception thing I think, it doesn't matter. You still in the area?
No. I'm not. I went to UConn and got a job in Hartford upon graduation. That's why I said "depending on how you measure." I had a MA drivers' license until I was 26. I've been in CT ever since (Manchester and East Hampton). My parents and brother's family are up there, so I go back once or twice a month.
