Sorry abou it is Quayvon Skanes.... the most recent rivals article i read on 6/5/15 he was interviewed and said it himself. It'd be his firsttrip to Storrs. Article implies he's most comfortable with CMU (in close contact with one of the coaches there) and Northwestern (he's been there a few times)

For us to be in his top 3 and not even visit until kinda speaks volumes for us imo. He obviously sees something in us.

Army, Eastern Michigan, Georgia State, Idaho, Iowa State, Louisiana-Lafayette, Middle Tennessee State, New Mexico, New Mexico State North Texas, San Diego State, UMass, UTEP, Western Kentucky, and Wyoming do not have commits.

Not defending the coach as some will invariably accuse me of, just answering the question...

First commit last year was Kevin Murphy on June 9th.

I mentioned in another thread that if we don't have a few "bell cow" recruits by the end of the month (after camps) - then I would be concerned. I can't help believe that HCBD/Staff has something up his/their sleeve - could be 100% wrong and will readily admit it if it doesn't happen.

That would have been better if Trabek listed those teams and someone had to answer with the question.
 
Another name to keep an eye on...

DeUnte Chatman. A 6-1 220lb RB/LB from Summer Creek HS in Humble Texas now attending Loomis Chaffee School in CT. Reported offers from Army, Navy, Florida A&M, New Mexico, New Mexico State and possibly Washington State. Looks like he was headed to New Mexico State for 2015 then went PG instead.

Reported to be camping with UConn on 6/22.

Yeah......I'm real happy UConn is among this group of "have nots".

So I guess that means everyone else in the AAC is doing o.k. on the recruiting trail? At this point, my disappointment keeps me from checking.

Good....Don't check in then....Better yet don't even post....You must be new to recruiting, or really young, or have been living under a rock for the last 5 years. I don't know where you get your expectations from. We are not a top tier program. Recruiting is not an exact science either and it is always extremely fluid. Teams who have commits now don't necessarily hold on to those guys by Feb 2 2016. Not to mention there are just way to many scenarios and strategies that our coaches may be taking to put together our next class to be upset because we don't have a commit in June. Some reasons you are being irrational; We haven't even had our summer camps yet, we may be targeting a whole bunch of kids who aren't making their decisions until later in summer (don't think the public offer list is the only players we have offered), there are plenty of late bloomers, many guys that have other P5 offers that I'm sure we are making think twice, transfers, JUCO players, kids that will decommit because of PT concerns and other highly profile guys that have committed to the same school, kids that have grade problems that we are waiting on their first semester grades, so on and so forth. We have 12 seniors leaving next year (1 already gone) and we can expect attrition from the RJR class and some underclassman of maybe 6-8. So at most maybe a 20 player class coming in. So absolutely no reason to complain or whine. Sack up. Did I mention we haven't even had our summer camps yet? You know those camps where all the student-athletes get to come and practice in play on our fields, get a feel for playing for the coaches, see the campus and attractions.

Said he,favors us. States UCONN is not too big or to small and likes the chill vibe he got from the campus and program. Aiming for late June early July decision date. Hope it works,out for us.
 
I believe we're finally close to getting the first commit, like this week close... once we get one the dominoes will start to fall...
